Sageretia theezans Sweet plum Birthday Tree 2025:
This tree I got as a gift in sept 2025 Its now one of my favorite indoor bonsai I have. It needs a lot of moister and its a box store tree So Basically I need to repot it, its super root bound and looks like its struggling a bit. While I do think a repot will help this mini bonsai tree a lot I know also its out of season and well maybe I can help it more by fertilizing give it enough water and correct light.
It now has grown for one month with all good conditions and elongate a lot so I did the first trim on it. Below you can see how that first trim went.
Just simple profile trim and removing dead branches. I do not want to do to much on it now but I did remove some leave to get some more light in it but well its all minimum work.
I did also take all usable cuttings and I do try to make new trees from it.
